Lou Dobbs had to lead on Reid's words, but his other piece was on the continuing Nucor Steel Town Hall Meetings which have come to Arkansas(BLytheville Beam and Steel Sheet Coil Mills for Nucor and N-Y-S) Nebraska, and South Carolina.
CNN had a reporter at the third metting, each growing in the number of people who show up informed and aware of outsourcing's impact.
The town where it all started, Blytheville, has its usual Bush friendly headline for the paper:
"Bush Tabs Alito for court spot" the usual AP dribble piece.
It is not on the top of the page today though. While Bush chooses another shill for business and wealth to run a court seat, with an eye toward inflamatory partisan domestic policy, the impact of the outsourcing hits again...
The top of page one for the Courier News reads as follows:
(JOB LOSS) "Local COmpany forced to lay off 50 workers"
So the start of the outsourcing tour finds itself once again impacted by the plague of job loss George Bush oversees.
"A local industry had been forced to make what it hopes will be a temporary employee cutback because of competition from foreign industry."
Lou Dobbs' closing piece, and its related sourcing community, are a footnote to the current Bush spin that has made America less safe(CIA leak on Plame, war for lies) and less secure(jobs and domestic quality of life).
Reid is in the ring for answers to security concerns, someone remind him that working the body of policy for jobs will make him the people's champ! Use the combo!
