So Feingold says no to Impeachment of Bush at kos...
...but the McCain rumor monger woman who speaks from the BlueJersey forums as an astroturfing Kean Jr staffer vs. Menendez mentions our fine Senator's staffers in her past smear efforts against Senator Menendez.
"So now that Bob's realized his potentially campaign-killing mistake, he looks to a Democratic ally, Ellen Weintraub. And who is Ellen Weintraub? The FEC Vice-Chairman responsible for all of 527 ads that ran in the 2004 presidentail election...it was her deliberate inaction that prevented the FEC from banning singleton contributions for millions of dollars to be used for political activies.
She is also married to Russ Feingold's legislative director. Unbiased source? A conflict of interest certaintly. And the woman isn't even sure if she gave Boss Bob approval anyway.
Keep on trying Bob. Keep on trying."

She's supposedly being led to take over the McCain camp as well. Or at least it appears she thinks so and has leaked as much to others in the media...
the Blue Jersey site lists Hazelbaker's history of astroturf spam comments at political blogs, claiming to be a Democrat.

Has she been sending angry emails to Sen. Feingold to sway his opinion on impeachment? Is he aware she's slandered his fellow Senator and his staff, some of whom have family members who ably assist his efforts in Senate?
We know it's about votes, but you can tote the note. The popular opinion wants it. Why let the wimps and underlings of these crooks act this way when you are busy confronting supporters?
Why so - look at polling fundamentals.
AfterDowningSt.org, MyDD, a majority of the blogs frequented by the progressives favor it overwhelmingly.
Republicans however, show numbers in the 15% range. Think about that. All Bush's base are belong to ours when 15% oppose him outright.
Dems are two thirds of registered voters. Fewer Americans today claim to even be Republicans than just a brief while ago when America seemed destined to drown in our own patriotism. Of those that are left 15% are ready to see impeachment proceedings begin in the GOP ranks, and more so would likely abstain than endorse him with support or defense.
Not only this fact aids the hearings. Discovery will drive further process before the country. More people will agree.
Think about that, we've got discovery and independent authority in some instances. We've got an AG who has patently broken the law and refuses to uphold the law. We've got a Vice President who former White House Counsel to President Richard Nixon, Mr.John Dean, says has created multiple instances of lawbreaking.
Vice President Dick Cheney has regularly claimed that he is above the law, but until recently he has not offered any explanation of why.
In fact, it is becoming increasingly difficult to find a law that Cheney believes does apply to him, whether that law be major or minor.
This taken with what we know about voters in general and Americans as a whole, should move this forward full force. Two thirds of registered voters are democrats and the republicans have base members supporting impeachment at this time in poll trends. The CIA factbook lists USA internet user at 205 million plus, that number has definitely increased, and most of the online users trend towards better political awareness on the whole, so the actual sampling is underrated(as oft the case is) by adding a larger than proportional half to republican poll representation.
Even more Americans do not vote, but would perhaps become more involved in the process either way if this proceeding moves forward. Some would have confidence restored, or be moved to register contrary to such, based on their feelings. In either event the debate expands.
At no time does Impeachment rise to the standard of double jeapordy either. Undertaking the process does not deny the option later. The ability to call the highest office to accountability is unique to America's original intent and modern practice.
The discovery off Impeachment from George Bush could smash Executive Privlege claims in conflict with items of record, he's threadbare in standing at this time for a variety of know scandals.
That discovery could lead to impeachment of Alberto Gonzales and Censureship of Dick Cheney, if not outright Impeachment.
The idea of people claiming grievance against their own party first should motivate you further. Karl Rove is "running on the war," and Ralph Nader claims there's "no true difference." Establish one, use the authority vested in Congress to establish Resolutions of Inquiry like this one Rep.Barbara Lee offered in 2005:
Congresswoman Barbara Lee (Dem., Calif.) has introduced a Resolution of Inquiry in the House of Representatives (H. Res 375) which, if passed, will require the White House and the State Department to "transmit all information relating to communication with officials of the United Kingdom between January 1, 2002, and October 16, 2002, relating to the policy of the United States with respect to Iraq."
This could be done on every topic touching the multiple scandals of George Bush. A resolution per Comittee Chair if need be, or Vice ranking member for those hearing greater from constituents in coming matters. I'm not entirely familiar with its standing towards immunity though, in fact I discouraged one on the Libby Felonies until the trial ran due course for concern of immunity grants. The ROI need to be tailored, narrow and specific.
Get bush to flip on Cheney, with Gonzales out and a new AG, pending Senate review in place. Post restraining orders against signing statements or sessionless/emergency appointments if need be.
Others mention the bar of House remedy since prosecutors have abstained their obligations. Use this to fullest advantage.
The bluff was called on the Iran vote, on the Al Qaeida scares that come up when polls are their worst for Rove. America is ready to prove to the world that George Bush is not who holds the aspects of our better nature. You've caved once again to this point.
There's a difference between defiant posture and prone positioning. You've spoken to it before. How would a Patriot Act at this time?
